To understand how nutrition plays such an important part in maintaining well-being and to identify some of the challenges faced by the individuals we support.

To help staff understand their responsibilities when facing situations around individuals they support who wish to explore and develop their own relationships.

To provide an understanding of the presentation of behaviours, explore their impact and to discuss effective approaches to improve health and well-being for the individual.

Restrictive Practice and The Mental Capacity Act

To identify and define ‘restrictive practices’, discuss strategies and interventions to reduce the use of restrictive practices and promote positive behaviour support.

Epilepsy and Safe Administrations of Medicines

To include knowledge of Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) and safe administration of Buccal Midazolam and Rectal Diazepam if required
